Fraud Investigations

If you own a business, you know that hiring honest employees is one of the hardest parts of the job. And when you get the wrong person in your company, it can have serious consequences. And some of the most serious problems with personnel don’t happen face to face. When an employee violates their non-compete agreement for instance, you have a right as a business owner to seek damages. Even worse, dishonest employees can end up faking injuries or embezzling large sums of money from the business. Those are the times when you need a fraud investigator to determine what course of action you can take. Fraud investigations are targeted, narrow cases that look for details about the circumstances of a suspicious business situation. Our employee investigations are able to find fraudulent and otherwise unlawful activity within your workforce.

Fraud Investigator

What happens to a business when one of their employees doesn’t come in to work, claiming they hurt themselves on the job? Often times the costly medical bills incurred by an employee will be force a business owner to cover their expenses by paying out large sums of money. But what happens when the employee in question was never actually injured to begin with? This kind of worker’s compensation fraud can be devastating to a business, and warrants a fraud investigation. Not only is this fraud costly and time consuming, but it undermines the faith between the employer and their workers.

To help avoid that terrible outcome, you can have a worker’s compensation investigation done. This form of fraud investigation is designed specifically to catch disingenuous injury cases in the workplace. Our investigators track down the medical records of the person in question, looking for dates that may or may not correspond to when they say the injury occurred. We also look into the employee’s background, to see if there is a history of fraudulent activity. If anything looks suspicious, we follow up until we get you answers. All these things allow you to present this evidence to an attorney, and possibly prevent costly lawsuits.

  • review rating 5  This is an outstanding company with outstanding investigators! Highly professional and extremely good at what they do. The founder and owner of the company is quite famous and has been in the business for years. What's also great about this company is they have not only ex-military investigators but they also have a retired NSA Army counter-intelligence agent working with them now. I highly recommend this company for any type of Private Investigations especially in San Diego County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. I have heard their Northern California office is outstanding as well but I have only had first-hand experience with the Southern California office which has been top notch. I went through all of the reviews for the company and I agree with all of them except for the girl that claimed they stole her money. I thought that was an interesting comment as most likely what happened is she paid them a small amount of money to probably get surveillance on something and unfortunately private investigators cannot make miracles happen and it is not like Hollywood movies where they can push a button and get video footage from inside the bedroom from 10000 miles away. So if that person does not do something sketchy or suspicious during the time frame the private investigator is watching him or her, then there's nothing that they can do about it. I don't know if I would call that stealing but I think if you want really good results from utilizing a private investigator you should allow them one full day or more to perform the investigation. That way if anything at all happens they're definitely going to be able to find it. Especially this company. They definitely perform above and beyond from what I've seen working with other PIs.
